GRUNDTVIG CONTACT SEMINAR
“Volunteering: A way to European citizenship”
Grundtvig programme as a part of Lifelong learning programme addresses the teaching and learning needs of those in all forms of adult education, as well as the institutions and organisations providing or facilitating such education.
8 - 12 November 2011
The Grundtvig Contact Seminar: Volunteering, a way to European Citizenship was take place from 8-12 November 2011 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
This seminar focused on developing Partnership and Senior Volunteering projects around the themes of volunteering and active citizenship. It was an opportunity to met partners, exchange ideas and create the projects of the future!
During the contact seminar participants have had the opportunity to:
- learn more about Partnership and Senior Volunteering projects;
- take part in working groups to meet partners and develop project ideas;
- and get advice on project development, good practice and application procedures.

The project, "Every Czech Reads to Kids" a Lifelong Learning Programme GRUNDTVIG
The collaboration of nine partners from eight different countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, Spain) will draw experience from different types of volunteer services, some with longer traditions, others with less.
